Turning the RUNWAY into YOUR WAY.
Fashion week took place both in London and New York City last week. Following fashion week, from my corner of the world, I am inspired by the designs and creativity. To be honest, I have never been to NYFW, but I would love to attend someday. Yet, one of my favorite things about NYC isn’t the epic runway photos from NYFW, what I really love is the street style. The hidden gems of what random folks find as fashion found in the streets.
A few weeks ago, in Louisville, on my way to get a “stress relief” cup of joe at Starbucks, I was randomly stopped by a local magazine, The Voice Tribune. They took my photo and the reporter pushed play on a mini tape recorder while she asked me to define my street style.
“My personal style is classic and sometimes bohemian. I like fun, quirky, but also simple.”
